Andy was over again tonight and we played Commands and Colors: Ancients.
Played the first scenario – “Akragas” from 406BC. I took the Carthaginians and beat Andy’s Syracusan forces.
Have to admit to not really enjoying the game – I’m not a big fan of ancients, and whilst the game was based on Memoir ’44 and Battle Cry, I didn’t really think that the relative complexities of the rules made for a good game.
